Graham Magee qualified at Liverpool University in 1978. He worked in general practice on the Wirral until 1983 when he moved to work in Trinidad (West Indies). There he ran and managed a seven surgery private practice, which was the dental wing of a private medical centre.
In 1986 Graham returned to the U.K. to work in general practice in the Cotswolds. Finally in 1988 he moved back to work in general practice in his hometown of Chester.
In 1993 Graham created the Chester Dental Implant Centre within the general practice where he was a partner. Finally in 1998 needing more space for the Implant Centre he relocated the Clinic to the present building.
During the years in General Practice Graham has undergone extensive postgraduate training to develop his skills in Dental Implant Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry. His implant training was at Sheffield University plus several years assisting one of the most experienced implant surgeons in the country, gaining first hand experience in all of the varied techniques used in the placement of dental implants.
In 2004 Graham gained a Masters Degree in Dental Implantology from Sheffield University. He continues with his postgraduate education regularly attending courses in Britain, Sweden, France and America. On occasions he gives seminars to fellow Dental Surgeons on the aspects of Dental Implantology and has lectured in the UK. Belgium and Ireland on CT. Scanning and 3D Planning in Advanced Dental Implant Therapy. Graham also runs post-graduate training courses in implant dentistry for dental practitioners in his practice. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and of the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Graham accepts referrals from other Dental Practitioners for the placement and restoration of dental implants with permanent crowns and bridges or over-dentures.
Graham's special interests are Dental Implants, Advanced Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry.
DR. Darren Wright BDS

Darren Wright qualified at Newcastle University in 1991 and completed his vocational training in Middlesborough in 1992. He worked for several years in Australia and Tasmania as a Locum and in a Clinical Teaching Surgery in University Dental Hospital Adelaide. Returning for a couple of years to work in a Sedation Clinic in Liverpool he then finally returned to settle in the U.K. in 1999.
In 2001 Darren took over a single-handed private practice in Colwyn Bay with an emphasis on Cosmetic Dentistry. We were fortunate to have Darren join us in June 2007 as an addition to our team, which thanks to Darren, can also offer Botox treatment and Dermal Fillers to complement the cosmetic dentistry we can provide.
Since qualifying Darren has continued extensive postgraduate training in Cosmetic and Advanced Restorative Dentistry; Sedation; Dental Implantology; Advanced Life Support; Facial Aesthetics to name but a few. He continues with his postgraduate education, attending many courses keeping up to date in order to offer the latest proven treatments to his patients including the latest techniques in tooth bleaching.
Darren is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. A gold member of the International Academy for Advanced Facial Aesthetics and member of CODE Association for Facial Aesthetics and a member of the Society for Advancement of Anaesthetics.
DR. Birgit Jensen DDS
Specialist Orthodontist
Birgit Jensen qualified as a Dental Surgeon at Copenhagen University going on to become a Specialist Orthodontist. She worked part-time in practice in Copenhagen and the rest of her time as Associate Professor in Orthodontics at Copenhagen University.
Birgit joined the practice in 1997. She has now moved to the U.K. and is on the U.K. Specialist list of Orthodontists. Birgit is a Platinum Accredited Dr. In the Invisalign system for the movement of teeth invisibly (without the use of brackets or wires).

Valerie Magee
Dental Implant Co-ordinator/Practice Manager
Val Magee who has qualifications in Business Administration, has been involved with dentistry for twenty five years. She joined the practice team as the Practice Manager in 1998 when the Clinic relocated. Having been the recipient of adult orthodontic, cosmetic dental treatment and dental implant treatment in the past, Val can give sympathetic advice about dental implants from first hand experience.Clare Taylor RDN DDH (Manchester)

Clare gained her National Dental Nursing Certificate in 1991. She continued to work in general practice until 1996 when she joined the Manchester Dental Hospital to train as a Dental Hygienist gaining her Dental Hygienist qualification in 1998. She joined the practice in November 1998.
Julie Dorricott RDN (Liverpool)
Dental Nurse
After working for three years in Conway and Colwyn Bay, Julie joined the practice in 1992. Julie gained her National Dental Nursing Certificate in 1990. She is also a fully trained Implant Surgical Nurse.Lucy Evans

Lucy joined us as a trainee dental nurse in September 1998. She has been trained as a surgery assistant in General Dentistry, Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry.

Receptionist
Lynsey joined us in October 2002 . She is also a fully qualified dental nurse. She has been nursing since 1994 and gained her National Dental Nursing Certificate in 1997. Lynsey's primary role is dental receptionist, she also covers some nursing duties.
Natasha Gillard
Trainee Dental Nurse
Natasha joined us as a trainee dental nurse in 2006. After being with us for a year Natasha is now undertaking a training programme at College to take her formal Nursing Qualification in 2008.
